Offering support to our community during times of need has been, and remains, a priority.

To the extent possible, and in the interest of keeping channels of communication open, we wanted to provide our community with a brief update on ECE matters related to former ECE staffer Christopher Rodriguez. 

This has been a challenging time for our community. In recent weeks, we have heard from many concerned families and want to provide an update, including preventative and proactive actions we are taking to address important operational and safety matters in ECE.  

We are excited to announce that our Early Care and Education (ECE), Lab School, and Geffen Academy are coming together to form the UCLA Consortium of Schools (formerly known as the Pre-K-12 Schools unit) in connection with UCLA School of Education and Information Studies (Ed&IS).
