Offering support to our community during times of need has been, and remains, a priority. The established Therapy Support Fund is designed to provide reimbursement for therapy services and any prescribed medication for current or former ECE families impacted by the actions and/or allegations against former staffer Christopher Rodriguez.
Last year, ECE procured the assistance of Ingrid Murrle, a licensed therapeutic clinician to help guide referrals for mental health support and resources for families in need. To utilize this referral resource, please contact Dr. Murrle at ingridmurrle@gmail.com or (310) 757-0411. These referral resources are available at no charge for eligible families. Dr. Murrle will connect eligible families with a third-party claims administrator who has been retained to confirm eligibility and administer the fund. Families interested in learning more and/or receiving reimbursement via the Therapy Support Fund should first contact Dr. Murrle.
As always, ECE Director, Tashon McKeithan, Krieger Center Director, Alessandra Pinheiro, and Coordinator, Rosie Castillo are available for our community. We encourage members of our community to reach out to ECE leadership if they may be of assistance.
Protecting the wellbeing of children in our care remains our utmost priority. We do not tolerate childhood abuse or neglect. If you are or become aware of such conduct, please promptly report it to one or more of the following agencies:
- UCLA Police Department: (310) 825-1491
- Los Angeles County Child Protection Hotline: (800) 540-4000
- Los Angeles Police Department Juvenile Division/Abused Child Unit: (213) 486-0570
We appreciate your support and remain thankful and proud to be part of such a loving and caring community.
In partnership and support,
Tashon McKeithan
